1,100 WAIVERS, EXEMPTIONS, AND FAIRNESS … ALL IN A DAYS WORK

OBAMA STOP LYING … THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE …

Ten states where Obamacare wipes out existing health care plans
President Barack Obama famously promised, “If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan.” He later got even more specific.
“If you are among the hundreds of millions of Americans who already have health insurance through your job, or Medicare, or Medicaid, or the VA, nothing in this plan will require you or your employer to change the coverage or the doctor you have,” Obama said.
But as Obamacare’s rollout approaches, we have learned this is not true. Here are the ten states where consumers may like their health care plans, but they won’t be able to keep them.
THIS WILL HURT YOU MORE THAN IF WILL HURT ME, REALLY!

IF OBAMACARE IS SO GREAT … WHY ARE INSURANCE COMPANIES OPTING OUT?
1) California: 58,000 will lose their plans under Obamacare. The first bomb dropped in California with a mass exodus from the most populated state’s Obamacare exchange. Aetna, the country’s third largest insurer, left first in July and was closely followed by UnitedHealth. Anthem Blue Cross pulled out of California’s Obamacare exchange for small businesses as well.
Fifty-four percent of Californians expect to lose their coverage, according to an August poll.
2) Missouri: Patients of the state’s largest hospital system — which spans 13 hospitals including the St. Louis Children’s Hospital — will not be covered by the largest insurer on Obamacare exchanges, Anthem BlueCross BlueShield. Anthem covers 79,000 patients in Missouri who may seek subsidies on Obamacare exchanges, but won’t be able to see any doctors in the BJC HealthCare system.
3) Connecticut: Aetna, the third largest insurer in the nation, won’t offer insurance on the Obamacare exchange in its own home state, where it was founded in 1850. The reason? “We believe the modification to the rates filed by Aetna will not allow us to collect enough premiums to cover the cost of the plans and meet the service expectations of our customers,” said Aetna spokesman Susan Millerick.
4) Maryland: 13,000 individuals covered by Aetna and its recently-purchased Coventry Health Care won’t be able to keep their insurance plans if they want Obamacare subsidies on the exchanges. Aetna and Coventry canceled plans to offer insurance in the exchange when state officials wouldn’t allow them to charge premiums high enough to cover costs.
5) South Carolina: 28,000 people were insured by Medical Mutual of Ohio, SC’s second-largest insurance company, until it decided to leave the state entirely in July due to Obamacare’s “vast and quite complex” new regulations. Company spokesman Ed Byers said Medical Mutual’s patients would be switched over to United Healthcare plans instead.
6) New York: Aetna pulled out of New York’s exchange in late August in an effort to keep their plans “financially viable,” said Aetna spokeswoman Cynthia Michener.
7) New Jersey: 1.1 million Aetna customers are at risk in New Jersey, where the leading insurer also won’t be a part of the exchange. Just 2,600 patients purchase individual plans with the company, but any looking to take advantage of subsidies on the exchange for unaffordable employer-based insurance won’t be able to do with Aetna.
8) Iowa: Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Iowa’s largest health insurer, decided not to offer plans in the Obamacare exchange. It sells 86 percent of Iowa’s individual health insurance plans.
9) Wisconsin: Two of the three largest insurers in the state won’t offer plans on the exchange. United Healthcare and Humana patients will have to get a new health insurer to buy insurance on Obamacare exchanges.
10) Georgia: Just five insurers are participating in Georgia’s Obamacare exchange. Medical Mutual of Ohio left Georgia and Indiana as well as South Carolina, due to Obamacare regulations. Aetna, along with Coventry, also decided against participating in the George health exchange.

JUST KIDDING … OBAMACARE "FREE HEALTH CARE" … NOT, UNLESS YOU'RE CONGRESS THEN YOU GET 72% DISCOUNT

Obamacare Website Quietly Deletes Reference to 'Free Health Care' … another hose job for the American Public …
WASHINGTON POLITICS AND SAUSAGE MAKING, AN ALL IN THE FAMILY AFFAIR … SANDRA FLUKE GETS FREE STUFF FROM THE OBAMACARE CONDOM FAIRY
Even as President Obama and his administration are making a last minute push to encourage enrollment in Obamacare, a quiet change was made on the Healthcare.gov website regarding those who will still not be able to afford coverage after the program kicks in. From at least June 26, 2013 to as recently as September 15, under the topic, "Where can I get free or low-cost care in my community?" the following statement appeared: "If you can't afford any health plan, you can get free or low-cost health and dental care at a nearby community health center." Here is how the page in question appeared:
I'M NOT A DOCTOR BUT I PLAY A PRESIDENT IN REAL LIFE
However, sometime between September 16 and September 23, the reference to "free" care was dropped. The title of the topic was changed as well, and now reads: "Where can I get low-cost care in my community?" Here is how the page currently appears:

FREE IS ALWAYS A MATTER OF OPINION!
The page in question is not a new one, as the webpage's Internet address remains the same, still containing the word "free": www.healthcare.gov/where-can-i-get-free-or-low-cost-care/. However, there is no notation anywhere on the page that it was revised; the change just appeared unannounced.

Other changes include dropping references to "dental" care and the availability of "prescription drugs," as well as exchanging the phrase "specialized care for more serious conditions" for the milder "referrals to specialized care."

Since President Obama has been emphasizing of late how inexpensive Obamacare will be for many Americans, advertising the availability of "free" health care might have been viewed as a deterrent to purchasing even the least expensive option from the government-run exchanges. Since the "bronze" and "silver" level plans that the president has recently been touting as equaling "the cost of your cable bill" and "less than your cell phone bill" will still entail significant out-of-pocket costs for medical care, "free" might still look more attractive to many on the lower end of the income scale. It may be that community health centers will still offer free care to some, but visitors to Healthcare.gov will no longer be made aware of the option.

SHINOLA … AS THE SAYING GOES … HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT HE DOESN'T KNOW … BUT IT SURE DOES SMELL!

The Cover of Liberal Newsweek Magazine:
Finally, Matt Patterson and Newsweek speak out about Obama. This is timely and tough. As many of you know, Newsweek has a reputation for being extremely liberal. The fact that their editor saw fit to print the following article about Obama and the one that appears in the latest Newsweek, makes this a truly amazing event, and a news story in and of itself. At last, the truth about our President and his agenda are starting to trickle through the “protective wall” built around him by the liberal media.

I Too Have Become Disillusioned

By Matt Patterson (Newsweek Columnist – Opinion Writer)

Years from now, historians may regard the 2008 election of Barack Obama as an inscrutable and disturbing phenomenon, the result of a baffling breed of mass hysteria akin perhaps to the witch craze of the Middle Ages. How, they will wonder, did a man so devoid of professional accomplishment beguile so many into thinking he could manage the world's largest economy, direct the world's most powerful military, execute the world's most consequential job?

Imagine a future historian examining Obama's pre-presidential life: ushered into and through the Ivy League, despite unremarkable grades and test scores along the way; a cushy non-job as a "community organizer;" a brief career as a state legislator devoid of legislative achievement (and in fact nearly devoid of his attention, less often did he vote "present"); and finally an unaccomplished single term in the United States Senate, the entirety of which was devoted to his presidential ambitions.

He left no academic legacy in academia, authored no signature legislation as a legislator. And then there is the matter of his troubling associations: the white-hating, America-loathing preacher who for decades served as Obama's "spiritual mentor;" a real-life, actual terrorist who served as Obama's colleague and political sponsor. It is easy to imagine a future historian looking at it all and asking: how on Earth was such a man elected president?

Not content to wait for history, the incomparable Norman Podhoretz addressed the question recently in the Wall Street Journal: To be sure, no white candidate who had close associations with an outspoken hater of America like Jeremiah Wright and an unrepentant terrorist like Bill Ayers, would have lasted a single day. But because Mr. Obama was black, and therefore entitled in the eyes of liberal Dom to have hung out with protesters against various American injustices, even if they were 'a bit' extreme, he was given a pass. Let that sink in: Obama was given a pass - held to a lower standard - because of the color of his skin.

Podhoretz continues: And in any case, what did such ancient history matter when he was also so articulate and elegant and (as he himself had said) "non-threatening," all of which gave him a fighting chance to become the first black president and thereby to lay the curse of racism to rest?

Podhoretz puts his finger, I think, on the animating pulse of the Obama phenomenon - affirmative action. Not in the legal sense, of course. But certainly in the motivating sentiment behind all affirmative action laws and regulations, which are designed primarily to make white people, and especially white liberals, feel good about themselves.

Unfortunately, minorities often suffer so that whites can pat themselves on the back. Liberals routinely admit minorities to schools for which they are not qualified, yet take no responsibility for the inevitable poor performance and high drop-out rates which follow. Liberals don't care if these minority students fail; liberals aren't around to witness the emotional devastation and deflated self-esteem resulting from the racist policy that is affirmative action. Yes, racist. Holding someone to a separate standard merely because of the color of his skin - that's affirmative action in a nutshell, and if that isn't racism, then nothing is.

And that is what America did to Obama. True, Obama himself was never troubled by his lack of achievements, but why would he be? As many have noted, Obama was told he was good enough for Columbia despite undistinguished grades at Occidental; he was told he was good enough for the US Senate despite a mediocre record in Illinois ; he was told he was good enough to be president despite no record at all in the Senate. All his life, every step of the way, Obama was told he was good enough for the next step, in spite of ample evidence to the contrary.

What could this breed if not the sort of empty narcissism on display every time Obama speaks? In 2008, many who agreed that he lacked executive qualifications nonetheless raved about Obama's oratory skills, intellect, and cool character. Those people – conservatives included - ought now to be deeply embarrassed.

The man thinks and speaks in the hoariest of clich├ęs, and that's when he has his Teleprompters in front of him; when the prompter is absent he can barely think or speak at all. Not one original idea has ever issued from his mouth - it's all warmed-over Marxism of the kind that has failed over and over again for 100 years. (An example is his 2012 campaign speeches which are almost word for word his 2008 speeches)

And what about his character? Obama is constantly blaming anything and everything else for his troubles. Bush did it; it was bad luck; I inherited this mess. Remember, he wanted the job, campaigned for the task. It is embarrassing to see a president so willing to advertise his own powerlessness, so comfortable with his own incompetence. (The other day he actually came out and said no one could have done anything to get our economy and country back on track). But really, what were we to expect? The man has never been responsible for anything, so how do we expect him to act responsibly?

In short: our president is a small-minded man, with neither the temperament nor the intellect to handle his job. When you understand that, and only when you understand that, will the current erosion of liberty and prosperity make sense? It could not have gone otherwise with such an impostor in the Oval Office.

SEIU unionists strike over Obamacare-related cuts … no good deed shall go unpunished …

Members of the Chicago-based Service Employees International Union Local 1 have gone on strike over recent job cuts by a janitorial company called Professional Maintenance.
The reason for the cuts? The employer says it is because of the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare. This is ironic since SEIU is a major supporter of the law.
MY DOG KNOWS MORE THAN SEIU MEMBERS
Tyler French, Local 1's organizing director, told Mediatrackers Ohio the company claimed it had to cut its employees' hours due to Obamacare mandates.
French did not believe the explanation, though, calling it the “latest excuse in a long line of many that we’ve seen from corporate America.”
But others throughout the organized labor movement have warned that such actions will be a direct consequence of the President Obama's health care law.
At the AFL-CIO's convention in Los Angeles earlier this month, Loretta Johnson, secretary-treasurer of the American Federation of Teachers, said it was already happening in her union.
"We are seeing employer after employer cut hours so as to avoid the 30-hour definition of a full-time job," Johnson said. The AFL-CIO passed a resolution demanding either Congress or Obama fix the law to stop it from hurting union members.
Under Obamacare, once a person works more than 30 hours a week, that person counts toward the requirement that companies provide insurance if they have more than 50 employees.
SEIU enthusiastically backed Obamacare when it passed and remains a booster of the law today. Earlier this month, it announced that it was sending nurses, doctors and other health care professionals out to promote the law in 30 cities over the coming months.

NEW ZOO REVIEW … RINO'S IN FULL RETREAT

Fellow Conservatives:

Earlier today, the United States Senate voted to fund Obamacare.

Cloture Vote to Fund ObamacareThere were 25 Republicans who betrayed their principles and voted for cloture, giving Democrats the power to implement this terrible law.

This is a disappointing loss, but the bill now goes back to the House where Republicans must hold their ground and refuse to fund Obamacare.

Here are the 25 Senate Republicans who voted to allow Harry Reid (D-NV) and the Democrats to fund Obamacare today:

Lamar Alexander (R-TN)John Cornyn (R-TX)
Kelly Ayotte (R-NH)Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
John Barrasso (R-WY)John Hoeven (R-ND)
Roy Blunt (R-MO)Johnny Isakson (R-GA)
John Boozman (R-AR)Mike Johanns (R-NE)
Richard Burr (R-NC)Ron Johnson (R-WI)
Saxby Chambliss (R-GA)Mark Kirk (R-IL)
Jeff Chiesa (R-NJ)John McCain (R-AZ)
Dan Coats (R-IN)Mitch McConnell (R-KY)
Tom Coburn (R-OK)Lisa Murkowksi (R-AK)
Thad Cochran (R-MS)John Thune (R-SD)
Susan Collins (R-ME)Roger Wicker (R-MS)
Bob Corker (R-TN)

LEADING THE SURRENDER

Mitch McConnell (R-KY)There were a lot of people who worked against us in this fight, but nobody worked harder to fund Obamacare in the Senate thanMitch McConnell (R-KY), the Republican Leader.

Mitch McConnell pressured several Republicans to withdraw their names from the letter pledging to oppose Obamacare funding, he falsely accused conservatives of supporting a government shutdown, and he actively encouraged Republicans to support cloture this week so the Democrats could fund Obamacare.

If Mitch McConnell had not opposed this effort, there is no question that we would have won the vote today. He showed that he has clout in Washington. Unfortunately, he used it to hurt millions of American families.

SENATE CONSERVATIVES CAN BE SPOTTED EASILY … THERE THE ONES WITH THE ARROWS IN THEIR BACKS!

We want to thank U.S. Senators Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) for their extraordinary courage.

Most Republicans promise to stand up for conservative principles during the campaign, but then let us down after they're elected.

Mike Lee and Ted Cruz are different. They deliver.

VIDEO: Watch Ted Cruz's Epic Stand

These two men endured relentless attacks from all sides. The criticisms from the Democrats and the mainstream media were harsh, but the most personal attacks came from members of their own party.

We need more principled leaders like Mike Lee and Ted Cruz because Washington won't change without a fight.

We are extremely grateful to have them in the Senate defending liberty and we will continue to do everything we can to support them.

Best regards,

OBAMACARE: COME FOR THE PROMISES, STAY FOR THE SHRAPNEL!

CRUZ:  Well, look, Rush, I understand that frustration.  It's why I think in many ways the central issue that we were trying to focus on in the filibuster was not the continuing resolution. It wasn't even Obamacare, as horrific as it is for the economy.  The central issue, I think, is the long-standing problem we have had with Washington not listening to the American people with Democrats and Republicans.  It's a lot of folks who've been in office way too long, who stopped listening to their constituents -- and, as a result, we see lots of theater, lots of empty symbolic votes and very little willingness to actually stand up and fight on behalf of the American people.

EXEMPTIONS AND WAIVERS … SUCKING THE OXGYEN OUT OF THE VOTING BOOTH … DOA?

The Canary in the Coal Mine

8% survived Planned Parenthood

The poll data is clear and cuts across party lines: 92 percent of the public does not think it is right that Congress and their staff are letting the Obama administration exempt them from the costs of Obamacare. Yet it seems many in Congress still want to dismiss these findings in hopes that these sentiments won't translate into actual voter preferences.

Incumbents facing reelections shouldn't fool themselves. A recent real-world deployment of the issue shows it can powerfully impact candidates’ prospects.

We tested the effect of the congressional exemption issue in six different 2014 races, which represent different election archetypes. We launched incumbent-specific, small but targeted, week-long communications campaigns, using mail, phones and internet, (but no TV or radio), directed at 7,500 likely voters. Then we analyzed the criteria regularly used by campaign strategists to measure the strength of an incumbent’s reelection campaign: the "hard re-elect", or the percentage of voters who say they will vote to reelect the incumbent; the "hard vote against", or the percentage of voters who say they will vote against an incumbent; and the "ballot test", or how the incumbent fares when matched up against his challenger.

Exclusive: Rand Paul wants Chief Justice Roberts, all federal workers, to enroll in Obamacare

Arguing federal workers should not get special treatment, Rand Paul says he does not want taxpayers subsidizing the personal health-care plans of any federal employee — including Chief Justice John Roberts — anymore.

With some in Congress arguing lawmakers and their staff should not get subsidies to cover their health insurance as President Obama’s health-care law goes into effect, the Republican senator from Kentucky told The Daily Caller on Sunday that he’s going to start pushing a constitutional amendment that goes even further.

Paul’s proposal — outlawing any special exemptions for government employees — would mean all federal workers would have to purchase health insurance on the new Obamacare exchanges instead of getting taxpayer-funded subsidies. Some critics say those subsidies amount to special treatment. The Obamacare health insurance exchange opens Oct 1.

“My amendment says basically that everybody including Justice Roberts — who seems to be such a fan of Obamacare — gets it too,” Paul told TheDC by phone on Sunday from Mackinac Island in Michigan, where he won a straw poll of potential Republican candidates for president in 2016.

“See, right now, Justice Roberts is still continuing to have federal employee health insurance subsidized by the taxpayer,” Paul said. “And if he likes Obamacare so much, I’m going to give him an amendment that gives Obamacare to Justice Roberts.”

Roberts famously voted to uphold the constitutionality of Obama’s unpopular health-care law when it went before the Supreme Court last year.

THE INVISIBLE REPUBLICAN PARTY, REGRESSION TO THE MEAN AND THE FIX

COUNTDOWN TO SHUTDOWN: 10 days -- the invisible handwriting …  no objective and viable long-term solution to our economy drifting on a sea of debt in a rudderless ship, soon with shall "all" be in the life boats … oh, no … there are none … they have been used long ago in the form of stimulus, and QE1 … 2 … 3, and similar forms of hapless political hokus pokes by the graven egoist and narcissus

ALAN GREENSPAN, Fed chairman from 1987 to 2006, in a book out Oct. 22 from The Penguin Press, “The Map and the Territory: Risk, Human Nature, and the Future of Forecasting”: “Our highest priority going forward is to fix our broken political system. WE JUST NEED AN HONEST ELECTION CYCLE!  Short of that, there is no viable long-term solution to our badly warped economy. In America we are being pulled apart politically in ways unrivaled since the aftermath of the 1929 crash. …

My first realization of a striking shift in our politics was brought to my attention by the staunch conservative three-term senator from Utah, Robert Bennett. He feared that despite his strong approval ratings, his 2010 reelection bid was by no means secure. In his 2004 reelection, Bennett won 69 percent of the vote. His problem, as he stated it, was unexpected contenders for his Senate seat from his political RIGHT. [The 18-year veteran finished third at the Utah Republican convention and his seat is now held by Sen. Mike Lee, an instigator of the effort to shut down the government over Obamacare. Now that was a good election outcome … we need more like it!  It was my first awareness of what later came to be known as the Tea Party, a political movement that emerged in 2009 and became a powerful force in the 2010 election. …

“Both uncompromising sides of our ongoing debate (in an echo chamber) on fiscal and other issues need to recognize that financial crisis lurks should we fail to resolve our deeply disruptive fiscal imbalance.
And that imbalance is far greater than the official data portray [because of contingent liabilities to the U.S. government from possible rescues of large financial firms and iconic non financial firms]
JUST WHO OR WHAT DRIVES THE AMERICAN ECONOMY … PERHAPS THE GOVERNMENT HAS KILLED THE GOOSE THAT LAYS THE GOLDEN EGGS!
At risk is the status the American economy has held as the preeminent world economic power for more than a century. …

POLITICAL NARCISSISTIC HERMAPHRODITES

We don't need no sinking' voters to stay in the political orifice … but it would be nice to have an air freshener.

REAL POLITICIANS SPEAK THROUGH MAKE-UP … ALWAYS FOR THE CAMERAS

“My introduction to ‘political Washington’ came in the 1960s when I was first invited to the dinners that were hosted by the Washington Post’s Katharine Graham, pundit Joseph Alsop, and others. To my recollection, the invitees to these dinners were ritualistically half Democrats and half Republicans (NOW THAT IS A HERMAPHRODITE … PUTS A HOLE NEW MEANING TO GO FUCK YOURSELF!) … Today, attendance at similar dinners is predominantly a 95 to 5 percent split, with either Democrats or Republicans in the majority." … "The bias toward unconstrained deficit spending is our top domestic economic problem.”  Then there is the second domestic problem … at the very top!
I'M NOT A DOCTOR BUT IN 'REAL LIFE' I PLAY A PRESIDENT
