  • Ha, ha, ha. What good news! All those talentless hacks who all wrote the same thing anyway are now doing something else. But the rosie picture of the internet news organizations is leaving out some of their bad news. The ads are just not bringing in as much money as the internet media companies thought they should. Reporters are being laid off from online media companies, too. So, why not just have one big computer program put out all the homogenized 'news' that the AP, Reuters, BBC, and the rest put out. Who needs 100 reporters talking about how bad Putin is when they all say the same thing anyway?
  • I don't pay for liberal newspaper CNN or MSNBC or any other biased news, NY TIMES and Washington post can go bankrupt any time now. In fact if the PBS did not employ a friend I would not miss them either. I wish there would be a site to teach basic economics to all those who have no clue how much work it is to employ them, how much risk and sleepless nights, how I meet their payroll sometimes before my own, how ocare has further decimated my business. I'm supposed to care about newspaper writers?
  • American journalists ceased to even put up the front of objectivity, when Obama ran. About 3 or 4 Chicago Sun Times "journalists" took jobs in his administration...immediately after having covered his campaign. And needless to say, they all fawned over him in their campaign coverage, thereby insuring their employment in DC.
    What a farce!
But the American people have seen this. They are not nitwits. And they do not buy newspapers anymore.
Serious journalists from the 1960s and 70s, of both the left and right would be turning over in their graves should they see what a travesty American journalism has become.
I'm happy they are dying. I agree with Donald Trump when he says they are very dishonest people. I think the remaining "journalists" and their families should be shunned in our communities.
  • All the polls show that the public strongly believes that newspapers and the media in general are biased.
Why should people spend time and money reading or listening to biased reporting by people the public believes are purposely pushing a political agenda by a combination of half truths, omissions, and outright lies?
Also, a lot of the public that pays attention to the news are smarter than most journalism majors, which is a college major often chosen by people who lack the intellectual ability to succeed in more challenging professions such as math, science, or engineering.
So smart and educated people have become tired of 'journalists' who are dumber that they are pushing an agenda instead of doing their job.
  • Left wing liberal bias has killed journalism overall. The media as a whole has become untrustworthy as a result of overwhelming liberal bias. We as a democratic society has to have a free non bias media starting with newspaper newsrooms. Professor who DO not teach this and encourage bias in the course studied should NOT be teaching future journalist. Some one have to collect the news and we will always need the NEWSROOM of reporters, editors and news photographers. Professional journalist need to check their bias at the door.
  • Anti-racists say there is a RACE problem that can only be solved when the third world pours into EVERY White country and "assimilates."
What if I said there was a RACE problem that could only be solved if hundreds of millions of non-Blacks were brought into EVERY Black country? How long before people realize I'm not talking about a RACE problem, but the conclusion to the BLACK problem?
They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-White.
    Anti-racist is a codeword for anti-White.
  • And here the libs thought 0bama was just going to decimate republican jobs... We won't be shedding any tears for all you so called journalists who no longer have a job.
Oh and by the way, once your unemployment runs out you won't even be counted in the unemployment numbers you have been falsely reporting on :)
Good luck flipping burgers at min wage, 30 hrs a week and no healthcare.
  • My local newspaper lost me due to their phenomenal editorial bias. The good writers (and advertisers) unfortunately suffer as people get disgusted with endless rants, offensive editorial cartoons and precious little journalistic integrity. The paper's layoffs say I'm not alone.
  • Not discussed - the elimination of journalistic integrity and command of the English language.
  • Why would I read or watch anything that I know is nothing but lies?
