DIVERSITY, EQUITY, AND INCLUSION SHOULD BE THE CALLING CARD FOR THE NEW LOCATION OF THE UNITED NATIONS ... CERTAINLY NOT NEW YORK CITY WHICH CAN NOT HANDLE A FEW MIGRANTS!!!
There are several arguments in favor of moving the United Nations headquarters from New York City to Brussels, Belgium. One of the most common arguments is that Brussels is more centrally located to many of the nations that the UN serves. New York City is located in the northeastern United States, which is relatively far from many of the UN's member states in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Brussels, on the other hand, is located in the heart of Europe, which is much more centrally located to the majority of the UN's member states.
While moving the UN headquarters would be a very expensive and disruptive process, I believe that the benefits of moving to Brussels would outweigh the costs. Brussels is a more central, affordable, and diverse city than New York City, and it has a long history of diplomacy and international cooperation. These are just some of the reasons why I believe that Brussels would be a more suitable location for the UN headquarters.
Another argument in favor of moving the UN headquarters to Brussels is that it would be more accessible to many UN delegates and staff members. New York City is a very expensive city to live in, and many UN delegates and staff members find it difficult to afford to live there. Brussels, on the other hand, is a more affordable city to live in, and it would be more accessible to many UN delegates and staff members from developing countries.
In addition, Brussels is a very cosmopolitan city with a long history of diplomacy and international cooperation. The city is home to the headquarters of the European Union and NATO, and it is a major center for international business and finance. This would make Brussels a very suitable location for the UN headquarters.
It is also worth noting that the UN General Assembly is the only body that can make the decision to move the UN headquarters. The General Assembly is made up of representatives from all 193 UN member states, and any decision to move the UN headquarters would need to be approved by a majority vote of the General Assembly.
The United States is 118 out of 193 member states in racial inclusion ... DEI ... enough said!
